Damian gets word of her father's plan, he rides into the Village of Foddy Feayn' and kidnaps her. In desperation,
Mariah throws herself upon God's mercy, taking an enormous leap of faith. Defying impossible odds,
Mariah braves the icy waters of the northern Atlantic, barely managing to get herself alive to the
Isle of Skye. She is found on the beach, unconscious, and taken to the Castle of
Lainnir Torr by a local fisherman.
Mariah awakens to find herself in yet more peril. Unable to reveal her true identy for fear she will be sent back to
Damian, or worse... her betrothed, she is believied to possibly be a spy. She is held captive by the dark and devastatingly handsome laird of the castle,
Ethan MacClain, who has troubles of his own. But, this is not the end of
